Eris@ = European Regional Information Society Association
Eris@ is an association of European regions who wants to accelerate the impact of ICT on the quality of life of citizens, business profitability and government processes. We achieve this through networking and sharing best practice, managing EU funded projects with regional partners, publishing material on our web sites (www.erisa.be; www.broadband-europe.eu ) and through organization of seminars, workshops, round tables and of course our annual conference.
Our focus is on moving from policy to practice ensuring each region achieves outcomes, results and impact thus benefitting the region. We concentrate on 10 key areas such as: government, infrastructure, health, inclusion, education and business as well as more specialist areas of film and media, innovation, measurement and evaluation and e-crime.
