Simon LavinSimon Lavin is the President of eris@ and the ICT Exploitation Lead for Wales covering all aspects of the use of ICT by businesses. He has worked for ten years within the Welsh Development Agency and the Welsh Assembly Government, in the field of Information Society – Strategy and delivery. He is a founding member and currently holds the position of chair of the All Wales e-Crime Steering Group and has been a key player in the creation of the European e-Crime Partnership which now boasts 18 regions.

Charles WattCharles Watt is the CEO of eris@ and he is passionate about the impact of ICT on the quality of life of citizens, the profitability of business and the effectiveness of government. After 25 years in the private sector, where he held senior positions in British Telecom and ICL - Fujitsu, he was instrumental in developing policy and implementing pioneering projects around the world in e-business, business incubation, e-government and e-learning at Scottish Enterprise, The World Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and ICT Qatar. Specifically, his work on NGN's has contributed substantially to European policy on such issues as State Aid, financial mechanisms and PPP's for dark fibre.

Peter FiskPeter Fisk is a leading strategic thinker and prolific author in the field of marketing strategy. With extensive practical experience gained work in the Industry with organisations such as Coca-Cola, Vodafone, Virgin and Marks and Spencer, Peter was the CEO of the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the UK prior to launching the Genius Works an organization that is dedicated to working with business leaders to adopt a more inspired approach to strategy and innovation.

Roger WilliamsRoger Williams is the Managing Director of Intelligent Linking, a new consultancy that is dedicated to the development of a sustainable 21st Century Economy. With over 25 years experience in technology enabled change he is the creator of multiple “facilitation frameworks” that have been applied in multiple industries including telecommunications, life science, education, health and economic development. Roger will lead the application of the e-Maturity discussion framework.

Dr. Leslie GadmanDr. Leslie Gadman is a Senior Lecturer at the London South Bank University Business Schools and is an author in the field of marketing and business strategy. Leslie has over 25 years industry experienced having worked in consultancy and within some of the worlds most famous brands. He is author of Open Source Leadership, a framework that helps leaders and decision makers to become open to the infinite possibilities and to focus on, and exploit the “real” opportunities that so often pass us by in a complex business world.

 

Giuseppina Curreli is the EAI Strategic Forum Manager, responsible for EAIs activities in terms of Innovation policy making and advocacy within the international Innovation framework. She is an International Relations and Innovation professional with broad experience in Policy Analysis and Project Management for both international public and private entities. She holds a BA (Hons.) in International Relations and Diplomatic Sciences from the University of Trieste and a Master of Arts in Nationalism Studies from the Central European University of Budapest. In the recent past she has been Project Manager in Research and Development, International Market strategist for General Electric, MarComm analyst and business developer, R&D organizational analyst for the international media conglomerate TeleMedia Ltd. Innovation and internationalization consultant for the Naider Consulting Group leading Innovation and Local Development projects.

Witold Latusek is a Member of the Board of the Małopolska Region. Graduated from AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków. He is an expert in business and public finance as well as being an experienced management consultant and active member of local government. He is also engaged in economic growth strategy and regional policy.

Crister MattssonCrister Mattsson is a Senior Advisor at Acreo, who specializes in business models for open networks and policies for ICT-infrastructure. He also acts as a Director of the Sweden Broadband Alliance and participates in several research projects, such as the OASE Integrated Project which examines Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) and federates partners from all over Europe, including major operators, industrial leaders in FTTH technologies, and European universities. He has written many articles over the years and participated in numerous presentations for politicians and for the management of public services. He has also written a handbook on Broadband for the real estate market by appointment of The Swedish Property Federation.

Chris ParkerChris Parker, Managing Partner of CS Transform, after a 14 year career in the UK government, Chris founded his own consultancy business in September 2004 to provide strategic advice and support to Government leaders responsible for driving IT-enabled transformation, within the public sector and across the wider economy. In this role, he has consulted extensively, working with over 35 governments around the world on all aspects of citizen service transformation.

Prof. Roy LeitchProfessor Roy Leitch is an academic with a lucid view of the future of international higher education. He is committed to educational reform and enhancement through making education more assessable, student centered and relevant to the needs of the learner. He has substantial experience in the development and delivery of international education across the developing world. He has held executive posts in both public and private sector education organisations

Prof. Victor NewmanProfessor Victor Newman has featured in the Wall Street Journal, contributed to Harvard Business Review, and is on Advisory Boards of several organizations. His "Knowledge Activist's Handbook" has been cited as the "best management book within the last ten years". His recent executive roles include CIO of Milamber Group; Head of Innovation Strategy & Economics at The Technology Strategy Board; and Chief Learning Officer to Pfizer Global R&D. He is the inventor of several fast innovation techniques and is a Visiting Professor in Knowledge and Innovation Management to both Greenwich and OU Business Schools.

John Kay is a former Senior Partner in PA Consulting and has a 30 year track record in delivering major programmes in industry. Since leaving PA John has been focused on the development of socially responsible enterprise. New types of businesses that are essential to complement highly competitive markets and provide the underlying social fabric of a rapidly changing and globalised economy. John has developed the Social Capital Framework that challenges organisations to build financial value alongside moral and equitable social values.
